Mumbai Police Informer Salim Maharaj arrested by Anti Extortion Cell in Ejaz Lakdawala case

In a dramatic move by Mumbai Police and underworld informer Salim Alias ​​Maharaj, the Anti Extortion Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested underworld don Ejaz Lakdawala today for informing him, who is now under the custody of Mumbai Police.

According to the Mumbai Police claim, Salim used to provide important information about the police action against Don Aijaz Lakdawala against the underworld and later also provided the phone numbers of businessmen, hoteliers, etc. to Lakdawala for exclusive demands.

Further sources claim that Salim Maharaj was working for some other underworld celebrities on the basis of payroll and protecting them from the police on the basis of his contacts as a contactor in the police department.

It is believed that some senior IPS officers were said to have a very close relationship with Salim Maharaj. Whereas underworld sources allege that Salim had very good contacts with ATS and Mumbai Crime Barnach officers and was always seen in these departments and also with some senior officers of the said department.

The police is investigating the old criminal record of Salim Maharaj and his nexus with the underworld and police department.
